The contents of many first aid kits and bags are standardised by DIN (Deutsches Institut für Normung e.V.), the german institute for norms and regulations.

The DIN standards form a benchmark for flawless technical behaviour and are important within the framework of the legal system. By labelling medical products with the valid DIN standard, the consumer is assured that the product has been tested, is state of the art and is produced with consistent product quality within a specified framework. The standardisation of products takes place in working committees, which guarantee a high level of technical expertise due to their composition. The existing standards are reviewed and adapted by DIN at regular intervals. For example, DIN 13 164-B for the contents of vehicle first-aid kits and bags and DIN 13 157-C for company first-aid kits, see Technische Regeln für Arbeitsstätten /Workplaces, have already been revised several times.

Further information about DIN can be found at www.din.de.

We also put together different contents for the DIN products we manufacture according to customer requirements or our experience. This applies to our mobile phone bag, our travel and household first-aid kit, our DIY and household kit and our kit for recreational boats.
