In accordance with the relevant validation regulation the containers with the unsteril products will be put into the sterilization chamber and the products will be sterilized with condensated steam. In case of undamaged packaging and correct handling the products will remain sterilized for a period of 5 years. All the various steps of production in the clean room and during the sterilization process are documented by in process tests.

First Aid Packets / Sterile Wound Dressings

The production of the sterile wound dressings according to DIN 13 151 is being made in two steps: Firstly a gauze pad (compress) will be thermally fixed to the elastic bandage, then in the second step the whole bandage will be wrapped in paper flow pack. The following sizes are being produced:

First aid packet "K" with a compress 6 x 8 cm

First aid packet "M" with a compress 8 x 10 cm

First aid packet "K" with a compress 10 x 12 cm

Wound Dressings / Bandaging Cloth

The bandaging cloths are being manufactured in two sizes. There are also various sizes of packaging of the final products available. The basic material is a non adharant wound contact dressing fleece material which is being automatically drawn from a roll and being folded into the desired size. Thereafter the final product is being packed in a paper envelope and being sealed. The following products are being produced:

Compresses - Non adherent wound dressing

The product group wound dressing is being manufactured in three sizes. Again, the basic material is being drawn from a roll then being cut into the desired sizes and depending on the requirement there a either one or two pieces of fleece material being put in a paper envelope and the seems are being closed by pressure.
